Sally Hansen, Purple Pizazz

An old NOTD that I'd taken pictures of before the camera fiasco, then never uploaded onto my computer. Man, I've forgotten how gorgeous/cheap/well-applied this is!

Anyway, this is Purple Pizazz, the deep violet jelly that I'd said I had decidedly not bought although I found it. A couple days later, I did, because I have no sense of self-control. On the plus side, it seems to be cooler rather than warmer against Milani Totally Cool (I will do a comparison once they are in the same place:  also, Pizazz has pink shimmer while TC has a pink shimmer that turns bronze) and, um, absolutely gorgeous.

Here it is in direct sunlight.  This is second-day wear, so please ignore the tipwear!

Aaand from the side, because I can't help myself.

This is four coats, which is generally a little too high-maintenance for me but the color was so pretty and the application so easy that it didn't bother me at all.  It's lovely.  I really like it. :)

  1. Hi! New follower here! At least it was cheap,I mean why get down on your "self-control" when it's only $1,right? I am polish obsessed too! I totally understand! It's a very pretty color, and I definitely need to get this one too!

  2. Oh, this is one of my very favorite cheap polishes, I just love the jelly, AND the glitter, and that insanely awesome shade of purple! Great capture!

  3. this on remains in my untrieds...I will get to it eventually, I have a passion for purples and it seems that part of my stash is growing exponentially. This is really pretty though, so I am glad I picked it up!

  4. Why is this still in my untried's??? Gorgeous on you!!

  5. I pass this color by all the time, yet its Fabulous! Next time they are on sale at Walgreen's I'm grabbing it!!!

  6. Starlight: Yes, I agree! I go hard on myself because I usually think anything that I never completely finish using is a waste of money--I have a hard time catching up with the mindset of other collectors. But then colors like this show up in my life and I just can't help myself *grabby hands*

Nicole: Thanks, lady. :D I love it so, so, so much.

Elizabeth: Y'know, I didn't realize that I was a purple collector until I started swatching cards with similar colors! Green and purple are always growing--recently, blue as well--and I think it shows! :D but you should try this; it really is lovely.

Apaige2u: Thanks so much! :) You should try it, I think. It's so, so, so pretty.

Jackie S.: Man, I think that's the story of my life. Then I kick myself over and over again once it's off the shelves since it's the One that Got Away... I'm afraid this paranoia is what got me to splurge on Illusion d'or in the first place! Don't be me, and pick it up! :)
